The Association of Southeast Asian Nations - ASEAN is a countries organization in Southeast Asia engaged in geo-political and economic. The Organization founded in 1967 with the signing of Bangkok Declaration by 8 countries; Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.  ASEAN aims include the acceleration of economic growth, social progress, cultural development among its members, the protection of regional peace and stability, and to provide opportunities for member countries to discuss differences peacefully. The ASEAN Secretariat was established in 1981 and located in Jakarta. The ASEAN Secretariat's basic function is to provide for greater efficiency in the coordination of ASEAN organs and for more effective implementation of ASEAN projects and activities.

AANZFTA IP Expert	Post-graduate degree in economics, law, business management or other apropriate specialist disciplines;	10 years	31 January 2012
Senior Officer Investment	Postgraduate degree in economics or related field, or a degree in Juris Doctor. A bachelors degree in economics or related field combined with a qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of the postgraduate degree requirement.	6 years	17 February 2012
Technical Officer Strategic Planning & Coordination Division	Graduate  degree in international relations, social sciences, economics, management or an appropriate related field. Bachelor degree in social sciences, economics, management, or related field	3 – 5 years	25 January 2012
